That country retains jurisdiction over its own criminal case and may continue prosecution if you enter its territory or a country with bilateral extradition arrangements. In some cases, the domestic warrant can be challenged separately through local courts or diplomatic channels, but this requires a distinct legal strategy. Removal of the Red Notice eliminates the global reach of the warrant, not the warrant itself.
