Interpol does not automatically notify subjects of diffusions, which are less formal than Red Notices and circulated directly between member countries. You may discover a diffusion only upon encountering border control, applying for visas, or during police checks within Morocco. Unlike Red Notices, diffusions are not published in Interpol’s public database, making independent verification difficult without formal legal inquiry. Submitting a data access request to Interpol’s Commission for the Control of Files is the standard method to confirm whether any alert exists against you in the Interpol system.
