Can a French lawyer access my Interpol file directly?

No. Interpol does not permit direct access to its databases by private lawyers. All access requests must be submitted through the CCF using Interpol’s official procedures. Your French lawyer can prepare and file the CCF Access Request on your behalf, but Interpol will respond directly to you or through designated legal counsel. Response times for Access Requests typically range from 2–4 months. The response will confirm whether data exists and, if so, provide limited details about its nature and the requesting country.
