How long does a CCF case take?

Access Requests are typically resolved in 3–6 months. Deletion Request cases usually take 9–18 months depending on the complexity of the case and the volume of material to review. Preventive Requests are often faster — 3–6 months — because they are resolved before a notice is even published. We keep clients updated throughout and respond to all CCF communications on their behalf.
