How long does it take to get a response to an Access Request?

The CCF must respond within nine months of receiving a complete application. In practice responses often arrive within six to nine months. If you are at risk of imminent arrest or travel disruption, we flag the urgency to the CCF and request prioritised handling, which can shorten the timeline.
