How does an Interpol Yellow Notice interact with the Hague Convention?
The Hague Convention on International Child Abduction provides a framework for the return of wrongfully removed children. An Interpol Yellow Notice may be used in parallel with Hague Convention proceedings to locate a child. However, the two processes are independent — an Interpol notice does not substitute for or override a judicial Hague application. Our team advises on both Interpol and Hague Convention strategy.
